Join us at St Jude-on-the-Hill on Friday the 14th of August, from 7:00 to 9:30 as we welcome Avon Faire, a fun female vocal harmony group from New York City, reimagining traditional Celtic folk songs, medieval story ballads, rousing pub tunes, romantic classics and sea shanties from across Great Britain! Featuring Kath Green and Andriette Redmann, along with singer/recorderist Anna Marie Spallina, dancer/harpist Dawn Daniels, singer/bass and multi-instrumentalist Emma Steen and percussionist John Rokosny, this is a performance you won't want to miss! If any of this has piqued your interest, Avon Faire have also released two albums, 'Riddles and Love Songs' and 'Tales of Love and Adventure', as well as the Sephardic Lullaby 'Durme, Durme', which is featured on the soundtrack to the Emmy Award winning film "They Survived Together".
