Part Time Site Manager

St Jude on the Hill

Location: London NW11 7AH

We seek a Part Time site and facilities manager.  Core 8 hours / week, flexible, but to include regular preparation of Church ahead of Services, plus additional times, (arranged in advance) to support parish events, and external bookings. This includes evenings and weekends hours.

The post holder will be responsible for: Day to day maintenance of  facilities in the building, and its car park and grounds;  Liaising at a practical level with 3rd party contractors and external hirers  to enable their site access while maintaining  building security: Assisting in preparing the building for parish events,  including Services , Life events , Parish Community activities; For managing and maintaining the site to meet Fire, Health and Safety Standards, and in making Risk Assessments for the building , and as necessary for each parish lead event.

The ideal candidate will:  Be self-motivated, and have a ‘can do’ attitude; Show a friendly disposition to working with clergy, staff and volunteers who support the parish and show flexibility in managing changing demands and situations; Have a range of practical skills to resolve small maintenance issues. ​

​

Pay will be maintained at rates recommended for London by the Living Wage Foundation, currently £13.15/hour, and terms include, pro rate 12 days’ annual leave (plus bank holidays). 

​
